Great Place for a Vacation

If you are like most people, you need some kind of vacation every once in a while. If you want to have the time of your life on your vacation, then you should go to Branson, Missouri. Branson is affectionately known as the entertainment capital of the Midwest, and it deserves this label. My husband tells me that Missouri is absolutely beautiful, and I can not wait for us to go there someday. In Branson, you will find everything that you desire for a vacation. There are many local shops and boutiques to satisfy your thirst for shopping, and there are plenty of quality restaurants for eating out with your family.

The Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing and the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel are conveniently located right in the middle of all of the fun and action of Branson, so you will have the best hospitality during your stay. If you go there, make sure that you experience the Payne Stewart Golf Course. Even if you do not play golf, you will be amazed at the overall beauty. My husband would most certainly play some golf if he had the chance. I think that I would prefer to spend an afternoon at one of the lakes near Branson and get some sun. Then I would really like to see their scenic river walk and possibly squeeze in dinner at an elegant restaurant.

Remembering NYC Trip, Street & Sign

New York City is one of the most visited state in the country. The busy lifestyle in New York City and a lot of beautiful tourist spot that sometimes get included in TV shows and movies always caught the peoples attention and makes them want to live in NYC. Anyway, I was excited when we visited the place. Even if it;s for business trip, we still able to visit some of the nice place such as Central Park, Museum, and playgrounds for the kids. The central park itself have so many things to see. The thing I love about NYC is the fast pace of life and everything is just a walking distance. Of course if it's long distance you need to ride a bus, cab or whatever transportation they have. But when we were there we only rode a bus going to the consulate. The Central Park is just a walking distance from my MIL place where we stayed. We wanted to visit other tourist spot but unfortunately both our kids at that time still little and husband was kind of tired carrying them. And his feet also got tired from walking. Another noticeable sign I saw is this traffic sign fine. It's ironic that they get penalty for honking when all i heard was a honk of the cab, and all sorts of vehicles.

Chicago River Bridge & Buildings

Bantayan Island, Cebu {Philippines}

Have you been to Cebu City? Have you tried exploring the island of Cebu? Cebu have so many beaches from North to South, just take a pick and you'll enjoy every bit of it. Located just west off the northern tip of Cebu Island you'll discover the Bantayan Island. It is also the main and largest island of the Bantayan Island Group that is roughly the geographical center of the Philippines. Bantayan Islands are considered as Cebu’s fishing ground from where boatloads of fish are transported daily to Cebu City and Negros. The island can be reached via bus from Cebu City then a ferry that will take you to the island. It's a long bus ride but it's all worth it. The place have nice hotel and resort to stay with and the people in this place are very hospitable and kind.

It was 2001 when a friend from Bantayan Island brought us there for a week vacation. We stayed at his place and accommodated us with the abundance of crabs, shrimps and seafoods. Believe it or not, the crabs and shrimps at this place are easy to catch. We even tried to catch some and gobbled it endlessly. It was by far the best experienced I ever had.

Sugar beach is one of the nicest beach in this little town. The sand is white and the cottages were very cheap. You just have to be careful going farther in that ocean as it also have tons of sea urchin and one of them got me. Yup, I was drunk and went to the water to cooled off and stepped on the sea urchin. They said the you won't get the sting if a man will peed on it. So, I asked my friend to peed and put the pee in a container. It was gross but i washed my foot with his pee and yet the stink still there.

This experience happened a very long time ago but in my head still fresh and made me smile just the thought of it.

First Travel Abroad {Japan}

...And my dream to travel abroad had begun when I met a friend who was deployed in Japan. It was an opportunity for me to see other places.
I took the opportunity and flew on a plane by myself headed to Narita airport, Japan. Others may find it scary traveling nor flying alone for the first time but for me was an adventure and a great experience as well. My fiend took me to different places in Tokyo Japan and that was amazing. We went hiking at Mt. Mitaki and that's where this photos taken.
I really wished to travel to Japan again but I guess that opportunity won't come again. The trip to Japan opened up a new dreams for me and that was to go abroad. It also opened a new perspective in life and a lot more.

It's good to reminisce ones in a while and think how our dream influence us. Because of that dream, I am here right now in the USA. It all started in that simple dream that brought me to be where I am right now.
